NEW CLASS BEING OFFERED

Staged Combat Master Class

We don't mean that you have to be a Staged Combat Master to take this class...
This is a class specifically for theatre teachers at the Jr. High School, High School, College and University levels.

Fight Director Mark Bedell will instruct you how to teach:
Basic Empty Hand,  Falls, Rolls, Martial Arts, 
Slapstick, Physical Comedy, Rapier and Broadsword
to theatre students who are inexperienced in staged combat.

30 Hours of instruction!
July 6th through July 10th 2009
9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Class requires a minimum of 10 students but is limited to no more than 18 students.   
Depending on your "teacher plan" you can apply for CONTACT HOURS.
We are working on being able to offer CEUs for teacher credit.

MASC Currently has no regular weekly classes
except for the Demo Team classes.

If you have, or know of a group (no less than ten and no more than eighteen) who would like to participate in regular classes, contact us.

Our policy is that anyone who puts a group together of 10 students or more can attend class FREE of any charges.

Get some friends together, pick your own days and times and create your own custom class!  YOU can attend for FREE!

Days and times are subject to availability at Acorn Studios.

He has Stunt Coordinated for: 
dozens of award winning independent films, the Sci-fi Channel, Lifetime Network, The History Channel and is past and current Stunt/Weapons Coordinator for Lone Wolf Documentary Group (History Channel/Nova) and is the only Stunt/Fight/Weapons Coordinator recommended by the Maine Film Commission
