Cervantes' quirky, inspiring, and thought-provoking story of Don Quixote de La Mancha is one of the most famous novels in the world!   Greatly simplified from this famous work of Spanish literature, our play celebrates the power of faith, courage, optimism, honor and imagination in transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary!

Inspired by reading about the adventures of knights of old, simple farmer Alonso Quixada dusts off some old armor, renames himself "Don Quixote de la Mancha", and sets out to find his own ADVENTURE!  With his comical sidekick Sancho Panza, his horse Rozinante, and a wealth of imagination, our hero stumbles (quite literally!) into several hilarious misadventures--yet never loses sight of his dreams!

If you're familiar with the story (or even with the Broadway musical, Man of La Mancha), you'll recognize Don Quixote, Sancho Panza, and--of course--Don Quixote's famous joust with the windmills!  As most kids are NOT familiar with Don Quixote or his exploits, this exciting play is a wonderful introduction to some of the most vivid, entertaining, enduring characters among the world's greatest literature.  Lots of humor, lively music, dynamic characters, and exquisite settings (the kids "ooh" and "ahh" with each scene change!) keep even the young ones on the edge of their seats!

"Excellent show….I was amazed at how well you kept our young students interested and engaged. The script and setting of the story were somewhat foreign to them, but through your acting they could comprehend and appreciate the story. Impressive!"

"It's amazing how you hold the attention of the kindergartners as well as the fifth grade.  They liked the scene changes.  The horse was wonderful!  The children really liked hearing the singing in your musical style production.  They sang your song as they left for their bus. Keep up the great work!"
