FOURSOME (Psychological-Horror-Thriller) Story and script by Mark & Jaclyn Bedell A young couple move into an old house that has a bloody history. As the two set up their new home it becomes apparent that they are not alone there. The audience is lead to believe that this is another one of "THOSE" stories... but they are in for a surprise... and so is the audience! (Available for production rights!!!)

*SERIES PILOT or FEATURE* Peter Spencer has no talent whatsoever. But that doesn't stop him from graduating from Journalism school... Of course, his daddy's millions had a lot to do with that. After graduation, Peter nearly destroys one of his Dads stations by turning human interest stories into exposes (like covering the annual Girl Scout cookie sale as a child labor story). Peter's hero is Geraldo Rivera. He's always dreamed of being war correspondent. His parents don't want him going into battle, but they can't have him working at a station anymore either!	They make a call to a Louisiana Senator and Peter gets imbedded into a Louisiana National Guard, "rear echelon" quartermaster unit that will never see combat. The unit is lead by an 8th generation officer, very "strack" who happens to be a woman. They are in Iraq in the days leading up to and including the ground war offensive in 2003. Of course, they DO wind up in combat and Peter has some serious choices to make. This Screenplay was commissioned and purchased by Patriotic Productions in California

RUSHING THE GUN (Based on actual events) by Mark Bedell Military advisor MSgt. David Bedell U.S. Air Force (Ret.) ACTION DRAMA Afghanistan 2002. Operation Anaconda is going wrong. A Navy Seal team, including Chief petty Officer Neal Roberts, is sent to the top of a ridge above the battle for a reconnaissance mission. Inadvertently, their helicopter tries to set down in the middle of a covert Al Qaida Strong hold. When the Chinook Chopper tries to escape the incoming RPGs, Neil Roberts falls out. He is left to fight alone with nothing but a handgun. When his team returns for a rescue mission they are at great peril from an Al Qaida heavy machine gun. Neal Roberts rushes the heavy machine gun saving his rescuers. This Screenplay was commissioned and purchased by Patriotic Productions in California
TOTAL IMMUNITY Story and script by Mark Bedell Military advisor MSgt. David Bedell U.S. Air Force (Ret.) ACTION THRILLER Kirk Summers made some bad choices early in life. His friends did time for the murder, but Kirk got off. He spent 20 years as a Navy Seal trying to atone for his past sins. Now he's retired from the Navy, and his old friends are out of prison. Somebody's holding a grudge... can you guess who before the surprise ending? TOTAL IMMUNITY has 81 pages but lots of action. It should run about 105 to 110 minutes. Perfect for a direct to DVD or TV movie. (Available for production rights)
VISIONS (A Psychological Thriller) Story and script by Mark Bedell Jack comes home from a business trip to find his wife brutally murdered. The police have no suspects and very little evidence. Jack begins having visions of his wife's ghost. Is she trying to help him solve her murder, or has Jack gone insane with grief? By following the clues found in his visions, will Jack come face to face with his wife's killer? (Not yet available for production rights)
VIDEO SERIES' BY MARK BEDELL (Many of the following plays are highly adaptable to the screen. The Frog Prince will make and excellent feature length live action family film. Androcles & the Lion will make an excellent feature length animated family film. Christopher Columbus and/or The (Mis)Adventures of Don Quixote will make excellent elementary educational film/videos The Gift of the Magi, The Fisherman's Wife, The Sausage, Atalanta's Race, The Emperor's New Clothes, and The Talking Skull will make an excellent live action children's video series. Mark Bedell has dozens of other titles, too many to list them all here, that will make an excellent animated children's video series. Certain titles: THE TORTOISE & THE HARE, THE ANT & THE GRASSHOPPER, THE CLAM, have already been re-written for animation. If you're looking for material for ANY type of children's project, Mark is the man to turn to for script development/creation.
STAGE PLAYS THE KRACKERJACK KLASSICS (All plays are appropriate for Kindergarten to 5th grade) These are plays that were created for the KRACKERJACK THEATRE CO. Each and every play had MANY hundreds of performances in every state from Maine to Virginia. What's more, Mark personally performed in EVERY SINGLE PERFORMANCE. This is how he developed as a writer. Mark could see firsthand what worked and what didn't, what went over well and what flopped. The result is the most highly developed, well polished scripts that are available anywhere.

The DRIFTWOOD Series (All plays are appropriate for Kindergarten through 5th grade) These plays were created for the DRIFTWOOD PLAYERS. DP never did the incredible volume of performances that KRACKERJACK THEATRE CO. did, but still, each of these shows was performed scores of times throughout ME and NH. The DRIFTWOOD PLAYERS specialized in smaller, simpler productions. While they do not require elaborate scenery, props, costumes or even sound; they DO require uncommonly adept and versatile actors.
